Patrick joined us for a few months over a year ago and has been with us ever since! He’s one of our fabulous team and considers his work to be… well… not work!
Patrick was born in Italy to Italian parents. As a family they moved to Australia when he was a child, before he moved to New Zealand as an adult. Patrick had always loved New Zealand – he visited often and enjoyed the outdoor lifestyle, especially hunting and fly fishing. While he doesn’t hunt anymore, he still loves to fly fish – so keep a lookout for him at any of the local hotspots!
Patrick says he has always enjoyed making things and what he loves most about working for Wanaka Joinery is that he’s not stuck behind a computer. After having run his own import businesses in Australia and New Zealand as well as being CEO for a V8 Supercars team, Patrick knows what hard work means. Now retired from executive life, Patrick took the job as a joiner for Wanaka Joinery for a short-term contract, doing something he loved. Well, he loves it so much he’s stayed. We absolutely love having him around the workshop, and if you pop in say hi to Patrick, and don’t forget to ask him about the supercars!
